Job Description

Opportunity for a field service engineer (home-based) to join a market-leading business that supplies a range of high specification tools, ancillaries and automation consumables to high technology industries. Field service engineer responsibilities

  • Travelling across the UK, Europe and globally to install, commission, repair and maintain tools.
  • Providing customer training services to ensure safe operation, maintenance, and materials processing.
  • Possibly process diagnosis and/or development work depending on experience
To apply for the field service engineer position, you will require:-
  • A time served apprenticeship or an ONC or above in engineering.
  • Service engineering experience gained in a cleanroom or laboratory environment.
  • Electronics fault finding experience
  • Ability to carry about installations that include mechanical and electrical elements
  • Willingness to travel extensively
The field service engineer will receive a salary of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience, plus a car, 28 holidays (including the eight bank holidays), and a pension.
