Position: Electronic Test EngineerSalary: Up to £45,000Office Location: DurhamThe role: Our client, an industry leader throughout Europe and the US are now seeking an Electronic Test Engineer to develop and design custom test equipment for new product designs whilst also leading a small team of electronics technicians.Our client has been developing and manufacturing bespoke solutions for over 30 years and are continuing to grow in 2022.The successful Electronic Test Engineer will be joining a close-knit engineering team made up of experienced engineers across software, electronics and mechanical design. In your role you will be expected to work closely with these engineers and take responsibilityfor all things test related. Working closely with them and customers alike to help them meet their product, quality and design goals.The ideal Electronic Test Engineer will have proven experience in a similar role and be comfortable in a new product focussed research and design environment with manufacturing being done on site. You will have experience with designing bespoke testing equipmentand be familiar with electronic circuit design and test.In this role you will be joining a growing R&D focused company and have the chance to take responsibility for all things test related, including leading a small team of technicians. You will have a strong technical background, excellent communications skillsand be comfortable managing the time and workload of a small team.Skills and experience Required:
