Job Description

Consultant RadiologistsWhether you’re looking for a fresh challenge or your first consultant appointment, there couldn’t be a better time to join our team.With a £40million investment in leading edge equipment we are putting our Radiology Service at the forefront of patient care for years to come.Investment in equipment at County Durham and Darlington

  • All 3 MRI scanners replaced and operational with 1.5T Philips Ingenia systems
  • All 3 CT systems replaced by Aquilia Prime Toshiba-Canon by the end of 2021 with a 4th scanner already commisioned
  • Our Plain Film Service uses Samsung Digital Radiography
  • We have CISCO state of the art teleconferencing systems for MDT presentation
  • Home reporting is being installed as an option for substantive consultants
    • You will be working in a department which invests in both staff and technology. Joining our team of 14 Radiologists providing a full range of services across the Trust including CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Plain Film and Intervention. Specialist interest positions are available in Breast, Paediatrics, Chest, MSK, Head and Neck or Nuclear imaging.
