Medicare First is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time working within the ComplexCare Team based in Darlington . The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in childrens services and be registered with the SWE.The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £26-27per hour and is an initial3-month contract.duties include: Review of complex cases: We are looking for a confident and experienced practitioner to undertake the robust review of complex cases within our review system and backlog of work caused by the COVID 19 pandemic. The role wouldinvolve establishing the correct funding streams are in place following covid funded provisions for hospital discharges since March 2020; to complete NHS checklist screening tool, to determine whether the Service Users needs warrant a full assessment usingthe Decision Support Tool process, and attendance these meetings. You would need a broad range of knowledge of joint working with our health colleagues to attended and activity participate within these forums.
