Youll apply national and international clinicalcoding conventions to ensure accurate coding within set timescales, utilizing your problem-solving skills to navigate through challenging coding scenarios.Key Responsibilities:Abstract and analyze complex clinical information, applying coding conventions to translate intricate details into sets of codes. Prioritize diagnostic and procedural coding to maximize financial income for the Trust. Resolve complex coding queries independently,referring to national standards and policies. Plan and prioritize your workload efficiently to meet demanding timescales and deadlines. Flexibly adapt to various specialties and clinical directorates as required. Requirements:Proven experience as a Clinical Coder, preferably within healthcare settings. Strong knowledge of clinical coding conventions and standards. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to apply codes to complex scenarios. Self-sufficiency in resolvingcoding queries and issues.
