An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Psychologist to join the Secondary Care Adult Mental Health Team based in Durham City . The team covers the immediate city and surrounding villages allowing for a wide demographic of patients you will work with.A core function of the role is to assist the qualified psychologist in supporting the MDT in their delivery of compassionate, trauma-informed care. Previous experience of working with adults experiencing severe and enduring mental health difficulties would be desirable. Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010.The Trust is committed to providing support and supervision for continuing professional development and we have an excellent track record for developing our psychology workforce.
