We strive to ensure our pallet network KPIs remain above or at 98% every day.You will be at the forefront of delivering the company ethos ofCommunicate, Deliver, Carefor every customer and every interaction.In addition, you will:- Control subcontractors to ensure they are delivering the service we request- Supervise our own core fleet of daily drivers to ensure they complete all tasks in a timely fashion- Liaise with end receivers to ensure they know which day the freight will be delivered- Act as a key link between the logistics office and the warehouse to ensure all communication is understood and acted upon- Produce monthly KPIs for certain key accounts in the company formatAbout YouTo be considered as a Logistics Controller, you will need:-Previous experience of working in a role where you have delivered advanced levels of customer service and excellent communications on a daily basis- High levels of computer literacy - MS Office and Excel in particular- A proactive approach with the ability to take responsibility for your work- Strong attention to detail in everything you doPrevious experience of hub and spoke network membership would be advantageous to your application but is not essential.Other organisations may call this role Logistics Officer, Logistics Executive, Logistics Team Member, Logistics Co-ordinator, or Customer Service Executive - Logistics.Webrecruit, Exact Logistics and The HR Consultancy are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
