Midday Supervisory Assistant• Salary: £12 - £14 per hours• Location: Streatham• Hours: 10 hours per weekJoin our team as a Midday Supervisory Assistant, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, welfare, and good conduct of pupils during the midday break. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to the ethos and environment of the school,working closely with the Headteacher and teaching staff.Day-to-day of the role:• Maintain order and ensure the safe transfer of pupils to and from the dining area.• Encourage good behaviour, table manners, and hygiene among pupils.• Assist younger pupils with their meals as necessary.• Supervise dining room procedures, including meal service, cutlery use training, and cleaning duties.• Administer first aid in case of minor accidents, following the advice of the registered first-aider.• Organise play activities in the playground or indoors during wet weather.• Liaise with the Headteacher and teaching staff to address any issues related to pupil behaviour or other concerns.Required Skills and Qualifications:• Experience in a similar role is preferred.• Ability to maintain order and encourage good behaviour among pupils.• Basic first aid knowledge.• Ability to organise and supervise play activities.• Excellent communication skills to liaise with the Headteacher and teaching staff.Benefits:• Opportunity to contribute to the school’s ethos and environment.• Chance to work closely with the Headteacher and teaching staff.• Training and development opportunities.Interested candidates are encouraged to apply by clicking the link belowRequired Skills:• Supervision• First Aid• Communication• Organisation
