Transport Supervisor, Dukinfield, £26,750 + BenefitsAre you looking for a new opportunity working for a well-established Manufacturing businessAre you looking to join a business that could help you learn new skills and really expand your knowledgeIf so, this role could be for you!This role is to manage the day-to-day transport teams, ensure that costs are controlled in line with budget, that all compliance standards are upheld in full, whilst driving a safety-first continuous improvement culture and always delivering an exceptionalservice for the customersSo, whats involved in the role If you have worked within a fast paced Transport function previously, you will understand the skillset required for this role. The key to the role is to ensure that the customers orders are delivered on time and in full.The shifts for the pattern are Monday to Friday, with the hours being a rotating 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm.You will manage the Transport teams to execute transport plans to enable delivery of products to customers within agreed cost / service levels.You will ensure vehicles are maintained including servicing and MOTs, within the current compliance and DVSA requirements.So whats in it for youOpportunity to join a well established Manufacturing business, who have a wide customer base but continue to strive towards improving their customer base and their customer service.
