Job Description

HGV TechnicianLocation: Dukinfield / Hyde, ManchesterSalary: Very Competitive + Excellent BenefitsJob Type: Full - TimeThe Client:Our client is a prominent automotive service provider, catering to a diverse customer base by offering comprehensive solutions for all their transport and fleet needs.The Role:As an HGV Technician, you will play a pivotal role in performing service and maintenance on HGVs, Trailers, and LGVs as per depot procedures.Responsibilities:

  • Execute MOT preparation adhering to industry standards.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle and trailer issues.
  • Undertake on-site inspections and respond to breakdowns.
  • Complete comprehensive job sheets and inspection reports.
Requirements:
  • Previously worked as an HGV Technician or in a similar role.
  • Possess Level 3 NVQ / City and Guilds 1,2,3 qualification or equivalent in HGV vehicle repair and maintenance.
  • HGV 1 licence. (Preferred)
  • Background in onsite inspections and attending breakdowns. (Preferred)
  • Valid driving licence.
Shifts:
  • Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 6:00pm
  • Alternate Saturdays: 7:00am - 12:00pm
