Job Description

Sales Ledger Clerk Full Time (Office Based)Salary - Up to £25,000Permanent Our client is looking to appoint a Sales Ledger Clerk to support the management team in processing and monitoring accounts and provide a customer service function to ensure the prompt collection of sales ledger accounts via telephone, email, and letters. Youwill be part of an experienced Finance team and have full support of the businessKey responsibilities of the Sales Ledger Clerk:* Utilise time management skills to organise role and ensure daily management of invoicing process* Processing daily dispatches to month end rental contract run* Management of all invoice processes and reconciliation of sales ledger account for 2 companies* Day to day dealing with queries relevant to client* Any matters applicable to the running of a busy finance department that may arise from time to time and need addressing to maintain the department efficiency* Any other duties as may arise from time to time that relate specifically to the above duties and impact directly on them to best manage the department* Provide support cover during holiday periods and busy times for purchase ledger and credit controller - knowledge of these aspects would be welcome, but training can be givenKey requirements for the Sales Ledger Clerk:* Sage very desirable, Microsoft Office Suite, General Computer Skills, Office Finance Department procedures.* Be able to demonstrate diplomacy, firmness, and politeness at all times.* To be disciplined and persistent in approach to clients and fellow colleagues.* Excellent communication skills at any and all levels.
