Exciting opportunity available for a Manufacturing Operative to join a very successful global manufacturing company located in the Dukinfield area. Offering a salary of up to GBP19,000 as well as benefits such as full training and free car parking. The company offers an excellent work environment and the opportunity to develop a long-term career. Starting as a 6-month contract leading to a permanent position. This role offers an immediate start. About the Role: · Manufacturing good quality products through various stages of the process, whilst working to work orders and company procedures · Willing to respond to customer demand and deadlines · Cutting of various materials, measuring belt lengths and width to specific sizes using various measuring devices, using cutting machines and hand cutting · Using machines to weld belt edges · Using various size presses to weld materials together · Using heat guns to weld profiles to materials, using high frequency welders · Manufacturing of curved belts, roller shutter and high-speed doors · Applying logos using heat treatment and ink printing by machine · Using a punch block machine and hand punching as per drawings · Use of various machinery to complete belts to specific customer requirements · Despatch and receipt of goods · Process through SAP system as required by the company Essential Skills & Experience · The ideal candidate for this role will have had previous experience working within a factory/ manufacturing environment · Experience maintaining and improving the quality control · This role is a very manual orientated process, so would suit someone who enjoys DIY · The equipment / materials used can be heavy so comfortable with this level of manual work About the Benefits · A salary of GBP17,000 during a six-month probationary period which will then rise to GBP19,000 upon succession of a trial period · 28 days holiday - Inclusive of bank holidays · Full training · Free car parking · Working hours 8:00am - 16:00pm Monday to Friday To Apply If this sounds like a role you will LOVE, please send your CV We aim to respond to all successful applications within 2 days.
