You will be required to teach KS3 and KS4 in English.Duties will include:Teaching English skills including reading, writing, and speaking; composing lesson plans Engaging students to ensure a lively classroom atmosphere and building trusting relationships with students, parents, and other staffTo set regular and relevant homework, learning and assessment which enable students to take responsibility for their own learning as well as promoting a high standard of behaviour, test and assignments to support and consolidate learningPreparation and planning lessonsMarking and schemes of workSupervising student progressManaging classroom disciplineQualifications Required:The successful candidates will possess a Teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome to apply)Subject specialism with experience teaching KS3 and KS4 in EnglishExperience of planning, delivering, assessing and evaluating teaching and learningThe ability to demonstrate knowledge and enthusiasm for the subject area and the ability to provide timely, accurate and effective feedback on learners attainment.Start/closing dates: Easter - July 2024Interview dates: as soon as possibleType of employment: Full-time.
