Job Description

This role requires a Maintenance Engineer to ensure smooth operations at an industrial manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair within the Engineering & Manufacturing Department.Client DetailsOur client is an established leader in the industrial / manufacturing sector, employing over 200 dedicated professionals.   • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery.
  • Diagnose and repair faults with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
  • Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols.
  • Work closely with the production team to minimise downtime and improve efficiency.
  • Provide technical advice and support to junior team members.
  • Document all maintenance work and report any significant issues to management.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
ProfileA successful Maintenance Engineer should have:
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a maintenance role within the industrial / manufacturing sector.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and repair faults efficiently.
  • Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations within an industrial environment.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
