Job Description

A successful global manufacturing business supplying major OEMs across various industries is actively seeking a CMM Programmer to join its ever-growing team. This is a client that prides itself on its state-of-the-art machinery and fair work/life balanceworking ethos. The successful professional will earn a competitive hourly rate (outside IR35) and will have the freedom to work flexible working hours. If youre open to quite a broad role across the Quality Engineering and Metrology area, then this couldbe the position for you!CMM Programmer duties include -

  • Measurement of products using hands-held measuring equipment & CMM.
  • Liaise with customers on quality (PPAP/APQP) related matters.
  • Identify and report any repeating quality concerns.
  • Report and document any quality defects.
  • Keep systems well maintained and audited, to ensure that calibration plans are easily accessed.
  • Work effectively with all other team members, ensuring containment/corrective actions are implemented.
Wed love to hear from you if you have the following -
  • Experience working within a similar role (Metrology Engineer etc)
  • Knowledge of modern manufacturing methods and techniques.
  • Able to operate and program CMM machinery.
  • Relevant mechanical engineering education (HNC/HND), or training.
