Job Description

Carbon and Energy Analyst required for our client, a leading Energy Efficiency company who specialise in carbon management and cost reduction solutions.As an integral part of the sustainability team, you will be working on numerous client contracts to ensure compliance and to develop & deliver a strategy to achieve Net Zero. This role provides an exciting opportunity for a technically minded person to developtheir skills and experience in the carbon and compliance sector, receiving support and training with a leading energy consulting business.Carbon and Energy Analyst Position OverviewMain responsibilities

  • Support the team with service delivery of Net Zero carbon services, SECR, ISO 50001, ESOS, and other carbon and compliance services.
  • Support the group with internal PASF strategy
  • Support Sustainability Manager converting SECR clients to Net Zero
  • Maintain Scope 1, Scope 2 & Scope 3 emission tool calculators
  • Review and development of energy consumption data.
  • Support the delivery of wider energy/carbon reduction projects.
Carbon and Energy Analyst Position Requirements
  • Educated knowledge and keen interest in climate change, energy, and carbon.
  • Excellent understanding of the SECR, ISO 50001, ESOS, SBTi and experience in delivering to clients across a range of sectors.
  • Experience of analysing energy billing and consumption data.
  • Experience of working with benchmarks.
  • Highly numerate and in possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel.
Carbon and Energy Analyst Position Remuneration
  • £25,000 - £30,000 (KPI related bonus available after successful probation)
  • Working hours: 08:30-5:00pm Monday to Friday with half hour lunch break.
  • Pension scheme current minimum contributions are 4% Employer 5% Employee.
  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays. Increasing to 25 days after 5 years service.
