Job Description

Jewson is the biggest employer in the UK Saint-Gobain business, with over 500 branches.What will I be doing in this roleThe Assistant Branch Manager position is key to the performance of the branch. It requires someone who can supervise a team of engaged colleagues to continually improve the customer experience and branch performance.Key day to day duties include:

  • Building strong effective relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Understanding local market issues and communicate to Manager to support sales growth plans
  • Developing new customer accounts and lapsed accounts
  • Communicate Company plans, goals and individual objectives
  • Support the team with day-to-day queries
  • Act as first line support as times to support Branch Manager
  • Achieve Safety and Wellbeing culture and targets
  • Embed Saint-Gobain Principles of Conduct and Action into working environment and behavioural standards
