Job Description

Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist division of Elevation Recruitment Group, focusing on manufacturing positions in Yorkshire and the surrounding regions. We are working exclusively with the UKs leading manufacturer of its product.The role:Electrical Assembly OperativeAre you an Electrical Assembly Operative who has worked in Manufacturing and looking for a new challengeA fantastic opportunity has become available for an Assembly Operative to join a well-known Manufacturing business in DronfieldWorking Hours: Monday – Friday 7am-3pmCompetitive salaryKey responsibilities of the Electrical Assembly Operative:

  • Correct Assembly and processing of products within agreed timescales.
  • Electrical – Assembly of PCBs, Electro-mechanical sub-assemblies, Optical and lens assemblies, final instrumentation using equipment such as Soldering Irons, Light electrical tools, and a range of hand tools. Further path to Optical alignment, instrumenttest and calibration along with final product stages including sign off and packaging.
  • Ensure your working area is tidy and conforms to 5S/Housekeeping Standards.
  • Provide status of Work Orders and report issues when they arise.
  • Support CI Projects to improve product flow through the business.
  • Flexibility to work between different functions and adapt when required.
  • Initiative: Taking ownership of own work, doing what is needed without being asked, following through.
  • Dexterity: Ability to perform manual tasks with precision & skill.
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate and demonstrate understanding of what has been communicated.
Skills & Experience:
  • Able to use Microsoft Office Programs/O365
  • Assembly Experience advantageous
  • A high level of commitment, initiative, and self-motivation are essential in this role.
  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively both within the immediate team and beyond with other Departments.
