Job Description

I am currently recruiting on behalf of an end user near Worcester who are looking for a Systems Support & Development Manager (Dynamics AX).To take ownership of the UK and Irelands business and IT systems footprint and provide essential support & development to the various platforms, creating a more cohesive, digitised, integrated and operationally efficient systems environment to meet the needsof the business.Major Responsibilities

  • Manage, develop, maintain and improve internal business and IT systems to support growth
  • Drive a systems digital core that is integrated with the needs of the business (better utilisation)
  • Close partnership with Group Front Back office systems teams on initiatives and driving in-bound support to us
  • Providing systems cohesion and knowledge of dependencies to successfully support the environment - (eliminate silos)
  • Providing essential cross team support with management of business and IT systems
  • Ensure the right application processes are in place (support, maintenance, development etc.)
  • Support in-house development of application services to support business initiatives
  • Leading systems business change management
  • Support mobility services for field technicians
  • Driving systems innovation and digital evolution (automation) through review of BAU processes and systems administration
  • Provide an IT view of the business vision for what the system needs to be and do
  • Support the business with portals, interfaces, applications and systems support, development and delivery
  • Elevate training of core systems and platforms
  • Supporting Compliance lead with systems compliance and controls (BCP, DR etc.)
  • Close partnership with Business Intelligence to understand impacts, dependencies and correlation
  • Effective management and deployment of group wide application services and updates
  • Knowledgeable of Dynamics AX, Dynamics CRM (desirable) and BI environments (desirable)
  • The role will manage ERP support specialist within the team
  • Being hands on and involved with multiple implementation projects, with a focus on D365
