Position: Financial ControllerSalary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annumLocation: [Droitwich, Flexible working]Type: Full-time, PermanentThe role:Four-Squared Recruitment has partnered with a leading Manufacturing business in the West Midlands to recruit a talented Financial Controller. They are committed to innovation and excellence, priding themselves on a supportive and collaborative work environment.If you are an experienced finance professional with a passion for driving business performance, we want to hear from you.Reporting to the Group Financial Director, will be managing all financial affairs of the group and any additional commercial matters delegated by board members. You will manage the finance department, prepare monthly management accounts, statutory accounts,and budget and cash flow forecasting.Key Responsibilities:· Ensure the efficient running of the finance department.· Regularly assess the effectiveness of the accounting systems, ensuring they are maintained in line with statutory requirements.· Review spending patterns within the group identifying anomalies.· To induct and mentor new starters.· Ensure effective communication through regular meetings.· Maintain staff personal records.Requirements:· ACCA or CIMA qualified.· At least 5 years of experience in preparing management accounts.· Experience working in a Group structure with time pressured reporting deadlines.· Experience managing or supervising finance teams.· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Proven ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.· Advanced proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel.· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.· Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a strong team, reporting into a forward thinking, supportive Group Finance Director.
