We are P & O, with an enviable heritage, brand recognition and future investment there has never been a better time to join us.The roleWe are currently going through a number of transformation projects, and this has resulted in an increased workload within the department, which has in turn created a vacancy fora Payroll Administrator (required for a period of approximately 18months).This role is pivotal to the payroll department and is the main support for the team to make sure that department is running smoothly. You will be making sure that all of the payroll data is completed in an accurate and timely fashion, alongside coveringany holidays or absences to assist in the completion of all payroll processes.You will be working in a busy team that deals with both shoreside and seafaring payroll so there is a huge amount of variety in this role. The data is prepared using spreadsheets and PDF files and uploading to the relevant systems making sure that the outputis correct and complete. You will also deal with any queries that come in and act as the first line resolution escalating where necessary.This is a very busy positionwhich has multiple deadlines and deals with huge amounts of data requiring someone to be very organised and hardworking.The organisationP&O Ferries is one of the best loved brands within the UK and we are considered a Superbrand.
