We are P & O, with an enviable heritage, brand recognition and future investment there has never been a better time to join us.This role is responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of projects, from definition through to deployment and service transition to the agreed time, budget and quality constraints. The Project Manager will be responsible for delivery of all business and technical components of the project and matrix manage cross business and functional team members and where applicable third parties to assure successful delivery.You will be the lynchpin of your assigned projects and will be driving forward the project to meet key deadlines. There maybe a number of concurrent projects as well as conflicting so you maybe juggling multiple deadlines. Some of the these projects a business critical and will also involve engagement with senior stakeholders.The knowledge and skills essential for this role are as follows:- Educated to graduate degree level or professional equivalent- PRINCE2 Practitioner Certification or equivalent and experience of delivering project using these principles- Project management experience- Experience across several industry sectors, preferably including travel/retail- Strong influencing and persuading skills, able to influence stakeholders to drive project progress whilst maintaining good working relationships- Highly resilient and able to prioritise work- Collaborative style that binds the project team together- Excellent written and verbal communications skills- Experience of managing outsourced (3rd party supplier) projects- Track record of successful end to end project management and delivery in a dynamic, customer focused environment- Able to work in a sometimes pressurised environment- Must have an analytical and methodical approach to problem solving- Commercially and financially astute, solid budget management experience- Experience in matrix management of project delivery teams- Demonstrable experience of building good relationships with key stakeholders- Knowledge of different project delivery methodologies such as Agile and waterfall- Good planning, people and organisational skillsIf this sounds like the role for you, please submit your application to be considered at a future date.
