Job Description

The roleHere at P&O we are undergoing an exciting transformation and there has never been a better time to join our business with our enviable heritage and recognisable brand.We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to head up our digital marketing strategy across our tourist sales function. You will be an ambitious and highly skilled marketer and this role is key to driving further digitisation and growth for ouriconic company and brand.As we welcome our two new ships into the fleet and look towards modernising across our whole offering, the marketing team have lofty goals to provide innovative and digitial first solutions to our customers. We are investing a huge amount of money to createa travel company that will not only be innovative but will be delighting customers on every step of their ferry experience.The Head of Digital role is integral to this transformation and with support from the wider marketing team and the DP World family you will have all of the tools and creative thinking that will allow you to really define and accelerate your career.As Head of Digital you will manage two teams encompassing editorial and social as well as eCommerce and Trading delivering a coordinated strategy between channels. You will be responsible for planning and implementing P&O Ferries overall online digitalmarketing strategy including UK, RoI & EU markets.LocationDover based we are currently working within a hybrid pattern with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.About you So who are we looking for

  • Extensive experience working in digital marketing for a B2C/e-commerce company
  • Demonstrable experience of setting a digital marketing strategy and leading a team
  • A track record of driving improvements across all levels of the marketing funnel
  • Strong working understanding of AdWords, Facebook Ads Manager and other ad platforms
  • A strong leader with experience of managing a team within a large marketing team
  • Commercially focused individual with a creative and analytical mindset
