Job Description

ElectricianWe are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our client based near Dover to install Automatic/manual Fire and Smoke Fire Drop Curtains and Intumescent Fire Grilles on site in factories, care homes, schools etc. This comes with a competitive salaryand great benefits such as, Workplace Pension and 28 days holiday per annum (this includes all bank holidays).Some duties include:

  • Wiring into an existing fire alarm system or smoke detector unit.
  • Operate independently with a heat or smoke detector.
  • Installation of intumescent fire and smoke grilles.
  • Maintenance on intumescent fire and smoke drop curtains for service contracts.
This position involves travelling to sites all over the UK, it may include overnight stays near to site, depending on amount of work to be done and where the site is located in the country. Accommodation and meal allowance would be provided. Company vanand mobile phone supplied for work purposes.Role Criteria:
  • CSCS Card
  • City & Guilds 17th/18th Edition
  • Knowledge of electrical regulations
  • At least 2 years working as an electrician
  • A clean driving licence is preferable as company van is provided.
