Job Description

Workshop ControllerDover AreaUp to £28,000 basic salaryIndependent Garage Environment1 in 4 SaturdaysJob DescriptionMy client is an Independent Light and Commercial MOT and Service Centre based in Dover and is now looking for a Workshop Controller to join their team. With a modern and up to date workshop you and your team will have access to the latest diagnostic and tooling equipment.The successful candidate will need to have experience within a similar role from either a Light or Commercial vehicle background and the ability to run the workflow through the business on a day-to-day basis.If you are interested and think you have what it takes to be successful, do not hesitate to apply today.Responsibilities

  • Control the day to day running of the Service reception
  • Allocation of work to the Senior Technician and a skilled team of vehicle technicians.
  • Liaise with both public and business customers throughout the day on vehicle updates
  • Invoice customers
  • Liaise with Parts Manager with upcoming workflow to ensure needed parts are ordered and obtained.
    • Qualifications
  • Experience within a Workshop Controller or Service reception role is essential
  • Vehicle maintenance background would be very advantageous
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
    • Salary and Benefits
  • Up to £28,000 Basic Salary Depending on Experience
  • Monday - Friday 08:00 - 18:00
  • 1 in 4 Saturdays AM only
