Care Assistants needed near Lingfield paying £10.25-14.35 per hour!Reference Number: FT41834About the role: Our client is seeking full-time Care Assistants for their 29 bedded Nursing Home in the tranquil village of Lingfield.The home offers the highest standards of care for older people including nursing, respite, end of life and dementia care and is a part of a great privately run care company that promotes the very highest standard of person-centred care.Key detailsBoth Days and Nights are available paying a higher than average £9 hour basic rate. The shift patterns are 8am-8pm & 8pm-8am and these are full time, permanent roles (42 hours per week + optional overtime)Other benefits for working for this great company include:*Free uniform (including shoes) provided*33 days paid holiday per year*Pension schemeCare Assistant Main Duties:Supporting the SHCAs in delivering the highest quality of careFollowing residents specific care plansSupport residents with personal care (toileting, washing and dressing)Maintain residents dignity and independenceMonitoring residents conditions by taking temperatures, pulse etc.Manual handling - Lifting and helping residents move aroundCare Assistant Skills Needed:The ideal care assistant will have a positive and caring attitude with good communication skills. Reliability and a strong team/work ethic are essential within this role.Care Assistant Skills Desired:NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social is desirable although not essential. Previous experience of working within a care home/home care/hospital setting is desirable and sometimes essential for our clients.Our clients are willing to develop their care assistants through the necessary qualifications to help them fulfil their job role and progress their careers further into senior care assistants and team leaders.
