Summary As a four-day per week role, we need someone with experience in the delivery of engaging content across several channels from print to digital where youll be advising colleagues on brand, marketing, and communications. Youll also have an eye for detailand for a good story, with the skills and contacts to turn them into media opportunities.This role is based at Polesden Lacey, whilst marketing and communications will be your primary focus, as part of the Propertys Visitor Experience Team, youll need to be able to work collaboratively with colleagues from across different disciplines.The ability to work weekends and some evenings is essential for this role.The salary for this role will be £25,000 - £27,300 per annum, pro rata. The gardens are open all year (except 24th/25th December).We are busiest at the weekends and in particular around Easter,Summer Holidays and Christmas.We also run an after dark light show in October.People are at the heart of everything we do at Polesden and youll be joining a team of dedicated and ambitious individuals. Reporting into the Visitor Operations and Experiences Manager, youll be part of the Visitor Experience Team, a group of five committedand creative experience and operations professionals. We pride ourselves on a culture of supportive and collaborative teamwork and we push ourselves to achieve high standards.Youll be a Duty Manager for the site and will need to work a minimum of two weekend days per month. The role is based on property with occasional home working. Were just four miles outside of Dorking, however youre likely to need your own transport toget here. What youll be doing Youll be responsible for coordinating an effective communication and marketing plan for visitor experience, conservation, and commercial activity.Working with the Property team to keep the propertys webpages up to date and create and easy to understand visitor journey. Experience in website content management is ideal, although full training will be provided. Youll help to generate positive presscoverage to raise the profile of Polesden Lacey, and attract visitors.Fostering excellent communication with visitors and the public through events, interpretations, and media, by collaborating with the wider property.Stay up to date to whats happening at Polesden Lacey by getting out of the office and visiting other areas of the property.Youll be supporting Polesden Lacey operationally both as a Duty Manager and as a part of the Visitor Experience team.
