Job Description

Summary With your love of working with people and desire to provide a great service, you’ll welcome and talk to our visitors to the shop/outlet answering any questions they have.Salary: £10.50per hourContract/duration: PermanentHours/working pattern/hours: This role is based on 914 annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. Youll be working 25 hours a week (split over 5 flexibledays), March through until early September. Then 12 hours a week September through to end of February - split over 3 flexible days (January no shifts). Weekend and bank holiday working are essential for this role.This role is taking ownership and control of the plant sales and garden department working closely with the manager and team leaders. knowledge and a passion for plants would be beneficial, jobs include watering/plant care/ sales and service/ ordering/ deliveryprocessing. this role will involve heavy lifting.Contract start date March 4th 2024Interviews to be held Monday 19th and Tuesday 20th February. What youll be doing As Retail Team Member you’ll offer customers help and shopping advice with their purchases. Other duties may include receiving, unpacking, and arranging deliveries, creating shop displays and working with other members of the team to keepthe shop floor area clean and organised.This role would suit anyone with a passion for delivering great customer service and an interest in learning about retail.
