Job Description

Job Title: Final Finisher / Fabricator / PolisherLocation: Dorking, SurreySalary: Competitive, dependant on experienceJob Type: Full Time, PermanentHours: 8am to 4:45pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 1pm Friday (part time working also considered)The Company is a well-established manufacturer and renowned experts in precision machining, bonding and finishing engineering grade plastics, especially Acrylic. They supply global, blue-chip customers in industries including life sciences, medical devices and industrial applications with solutions including fluidic manifolds and optical components.The Role:They are looking for a final finisher / fabricator / polisher to join their experienced team with key tasks in some or all of the following areas:

  • Fabricating (gluing, joining, assembling, inserting)
  • De-burring parts
  • Accurately inserting metal inserts
  • Mop polishing components
  • Cleaning and finishing parts to a very high standard
  • Careful packing of parts and relevant paperwork
    • The Candidate:The position is suitable for someone who is good with their hands at detailed tasks, with a good eye for detail and ability to work in a clean and tidy manner. Some experience is needed in one or more of the areas above. You need to work well as part of a team, managing your own work-load whilst coordinating with your team and supervisor. There is also scope to progress within the company, for example, working on more complex fabricated parts. Training can be provided.Skills and Experience:Essential
