Summary Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of a passionate team this role as aFacilities Assistantplays a core part in providing fantastic customer service.The Hours: 8 hours per week, worked across two mornings a week - one of those mornings will be a Wednesday. The other morning and start time are open for discussion at interview. The property boasts glorious views of the surrounding Surrey Hills, as well as an impressive art collection, manicured gardens and a large National Trust Shop. Colleagues have a great team spirit withclose links to the local community. This picturesque property is just four miles outside of Dorking, however youll need your own transport to get here.Click here for more information about this location What youll be doing As the Facilities Assistant, youll assist with the day to day cleanliness and presentation the National Trusts buildings and outdoor spaces. Youll turn your practical hand to all sorts of cleaning and minor maintenance ensuring all our facilities arekept in good working order. Youll also be asked to help with some manual work such as unloading and moving deliveries.Duties such as clearing gutters, sweeping and emptying water traps will form a core part of the role, both inside and outdoors. Polesden Lacey also have a biomass boiler and you will keep maintain the system by emptying the ash bins and other minor maintenance- full training will be given on this, no prior knowledge is required. Youll ensure the highest standards of customer service across the area by always implementing a customer comes first attitude.
