Job Description

CRM Marketing ExecutiveDorking (currently remote working)£25-27kThe purpose of the CRM Marketing Executive is to support the execution of the communication plan, delivering revenue targets, customer retention and an excellent customer experience through targeted marketing communications. The role will assist in the implementation of direct marketing to consumers and agents, creating superb campaigns which firmly establish our client as the UK’s leader in their field.The role will also build effective working relationships with key stakeholders, agencies and the in-house copy writer to deliver relevant and impressive campaigns on time, on target and on brand.Duties/Key ResponsibilitiesCommunications & Campaign Management

  • Work closely with the in-house copywriter and product teams to develop engaging content for email
  • Help manage and implement the annual CRM marketing strategy for email and print using campaign management software.
  • Help develop, implement and continually challenge a dynamic and personalised communication strategy
  • Manage processes for data handling, including subscription requests and opt-outs to ensure compliance with data
  • Enhance and develop marketing communications by increasing open and click rates through effective implementation of segmentation across each campaign to maximise response.
  • Manage end-to-end production of reoccurring DM activity, such as booking anniversary mailings and brochure inserts.
  • Using Faststats and working closely with our data agency, creating selections to send highly targeted campaigns..
  • Continue to develop and enhance the company’s personalised dynamic email strategy through segmentation using demographic, geolocation, seasonality and behavioural data insights.
  • Management of our Email Service Provider (ESP) Pure360 and any email developments considering the ever-changing landscape of email marketing e.g. deliverability, template development, optimisation, A/B testing.
  • Work with the data agency to run direct mail data selections using the company’s data model in conjunction with additional data insight to ensure the right customers are targeted.
  • Monthly reporting of email and direct mail activity to analyse engagement and enquiry conversion.
  • Database Management
  • Ensure processes for customer record management are working correctly and efficiently including customer change and unsubscribe requests.
  • Marketing’s acting representative to ensure data regulations are adhered to.
  • Investigate new data capture initiatives to grow a relevant and engaged base and vetting any third party data to ensure it is compliant with current data regulations. Including working with our retail network to ensure our sales teams are utilising all data capture opportunities.
  • Identify new ways to cleanse and enhance the database and combat against corrupt or inaccurate data.
  • Skills/Attributes
  • 3 years’ experience in a similar role (minimum)
  • Proven results in creating engaging email and direct marketing campaigns, increasing retention
  • HTML skills for editing content in predefined templates
  • Full understanding of customer journeys, retention, acquisition and engagement
  • Previous experience using Google Analytics
  • Use of an ESP for email management and despatch
  • Excellent PC skills - use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Familiar with data analysis software (Faststats or similar)
  • Photoshop for resizing imagery for emails
  • Previous experience using Google Analytics (Desirable)
  • Previously worked in the travel industry (Desirable)
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent (Desirable)
