Priory Group will cover the cost of a DBS check for all successful applicants.Pelham Woods is a 21 bed inpatient rehabilitation service which serves the needs of women who have complex mental health problems and a history of challenging behaviour.Pelham Woods is set in picturesque grounds overlooking the Surrey Hills and has extensive facilities including onsite Gym, Purpose Built Bake off Kitchen as well as Occupational and Educational Facilities. The site has a Good rating overall with ‘Outstanding’ for ‘Well-led’.The role:At Pelham Woods we are looking for committed Bank workers who are passionate about offering high quality care to patients with mental health issues.This role would suit someone who would like flexibility in their working pattern, allowing them to take shifts around other commitments and receive weekly pay.As a Bank Health Care Worker you will be working as part of a dedicated team that includes a range of professionals.To be successful in this role you will need to have good communication skills, excellent team working skills, be highly self-motivated with a flexible and common sense approach to problem solving, and have some appreciation of mental health problems.You will be required to be qualified to GCSE standard (or equivalent) and an NVQ (or equivalent) would be an advantage.
