Job Description

Salary: PS CFC rate plus Training Champion premiumHours: Standard shifts - pattern to be arrangedAre you a Personal Shopper with a passion to want to deliver the CFC operational trainingIf so then you may be interested in our Training Champion role, which is a Personal Shopper step up role. The objective of this role is to step up to deliver operational process training when we have new starters for both Ocado and on-site Agency employees.This will also extend to training current Personal Shoppers in changes to process as well as other ad-hoc operational training as and when required.What is the role of a Training ChampionThe Training Champion will be based in the Operation. When needed they will support the Training Team in delivering process training to new starters employed by either Ocado or our on site agency. They will also deliver changes to process within their areaand deliver adhoc operational training to individuals when required.Roles & Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate all of the Personal Shopper roles & responsibilities as described above, in line with the relevant Safe Systems of Work (SSOW’s) and risk assessments
  • Undertake on the job training with new starters, refresher training with existing team members as and when required.
  • Support the operational management teams with any training requirements identified as a corrective action following an adverse event or through the creation of a Safety Brief requiring signature sign off
  • Completion of paperwork to document training and new starter competence
  • Communicate clearly with relevant departments (On-site Agency, RP, HR etc.) regarding all aspects of training, specific to your role.
  • Provide feedback to management and to Personal Shoppers to aid the development of new starters and existing staff members training
  • Be a point of contact during a new starter’s probation period and respond to adhoc requests for assistance to further individual’s knowledge and understanding.
  • Identify, address and improve employee areas of weakness through coaching and training.
  • Be responsible for their own safety and their trainee’s safety
  • Feedback suggestions around the improvement of training packages and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW’s).
  • Report any work situation which might present serious or imminent danger. Report to a manager immediately any shortcomings in the Health and Safety arrangements.
  • To assist the Trainer as and when required, to deliver effective Inductions and to ensure all the required paperwork is complete and forwarded to personnel file.
