Job Description

Trainee Insurance Analytics & Business Relations Advisor Doncaster Up to 25k+Amazing Training and Development offered - Cert CII qualification offered.Graduates welcome!An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an I&A team for an award-winning insurance broker in Doncaster. This is a truly exciting opportunity for someone to work in the distribution team with our insurer and aggregator partners. This role will involvehighlighting and developing new opportunities, monitoring the performance of each account internally & externally, ensuring they remain one step ahead in the market and ultimately growing all lines of business. Analysing market trends, internal performance& highlighting areas of development, cold spots & opportunities.Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:This role will vary based on business demands; however, the below core workload provides a flavour for general day-to-day activities:

  • Day to Day Relationship Management
  • Business Development - Identifying and Pursuing new opportunities.
  • Remain Informed on industry trends & market conditions.
  • Sourcing, Reporting & reviewing key Management Information
  • Considering regulation changes & how they impact the business.
  • Daily Quote and System Testing
  • Completing & Reviewing daily Management Information
  • Reviewing individual Aggregator and Insurer performance & highlighting concerns
  • Completing Market & competitor analysis
  • Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Acting as a first point of contact for designated relationships, both internally and externally
  • Supporting the completion of business initiatives to improve commercial results and customer outcomes.
Although no previous experience is required, the ideal candidate should have the skills outlined below:
  • Demonstrate excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Ability to analyse complex data & provide informed recommendations.
  • Pro-Active & Self-Motivated Individual with the ability to work independently or part of a team
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess market trends and client needs.
  • Good at analysing data and generating reports (ideal candidate proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • Confident relationship builder, internally and externally
  • Effective at managing multiple priorities.
