Job Title: Multi Skilled Shift TechnicianLocation: DoncasterSalary: £38,000Benefits:* Contributory Pension Scheme, max 5% Employer Contribution* Non-Contributory Life Assurance of 3 x annual basic salary* Non-Contributory Medical Insurance (BUPA)* Hours of work: Shift working averaging 42 hours per week, working rotational days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.* Paid ½ hour lunch break and 2 x 15-minute breaks* Holidays: 21 days per year - this includes an allowance for bank holidays* Free Uniform and Laundered Service - entry upon completion of probation period* Free ParkingThe company:Venatu Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with our client who are a global manufacturer for the food and beverages industry.The role Responsibilities:* To ensure optimum machine performance through effective prioritization of machinery repair* Improvement of machine up time* Machine modification and improvement* Actively seek out and implement improvements* Production of statistical information* Assist in eliminating machine downtime* Reporting to all levels of ManagementIs this you* Preferably Apprentice trained with proven electrical and mechanical fault-finding ability* Must have an O.N.C Or H.N.C (or equivalent) in electrical engineering* Knowledge of plastic injection moulding equipment (preferably Demag or Husky)* Working knowledge of variable speed drives and inverters (installation and programming)* PLC skills, programming or able to monitor and modify a programme (OMRON experience very advantageous)* Ability to fault find on electrical and hydraulic systems* Knowledge of PLC operated equipment* Electrically biased with genuine multi-skill training (mechanical bias with electrical knowledge considered)* Flexible attitude to overtime* Demonstrate attention to detail and work with a minimum of supervision* Committed to team working and be prepared to train other staff* Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels* Prepared to maintain company quality and health and safety standards.* Ability to prioritize workload due to company requirements.* Driving license essential* Must be computer literate and be familiar with Microsoft Office Applications.IF SO THEN WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU!Engineering and Manufacturing is a specialist division here at Venatu Recruitment Group.
