Job Description

Reed Nurse Health Doctor are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Neurological Physiotherapist to undertake a temporary contract for Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) based in their Community Neuro Services at Tickhill Road Hospital DN4 8QN.This role is required to commence ASAP for 3 months initially and the working pattern is Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (37.5 hours per week).It is essential for this role that you are a car driver with access to a car as this is community-based. The Band 6 pay rate for this role is £19.38 per hour Pay as You Earn/£26.16 Umbrella.Job Purpose

  • To provide specialist assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients individually or in groups as an autonomous practitioner within the defined clinical speciality area of Parkinson’s Disease and Parkinsonism.
  • To plan and organise own workload and support the work of others in the team, to provide a responsive physiotherapy service.
  • To work with other members of the multi-disciplinary team to ensure holistic patient focused care.
  • To assist in the operational management of the service and to participate in specific service developments relevant to the specialist area.
  • To provide clinical education, training, and advice to physiotherapists, students, assistants, and other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
