There are a variety of fixed term and permanent opportunities available.Client DetailsEvergreen Garden Care is the leading garden care company in Europe and Australasia, producing high quality garden care products such as Miracle-Gro, Levington, Tomorite, and many other brands.Sies are based in Howden DN14 7UF and Hatfield DN8 5TEDescriptionProduction Operative:* Responsible for checking all moving parts of the process plant lines and reporting any deficiencies to the Line Leaders to rectify were applicable* Responsible for autonomous maintenance on machines as directed by line leader* Driving of mobile plant including loading shovels and fork lift trucks* Responsible for maintaining housekeeping in area of work* Adherence to safety policies and operating procedures at all times* Adherence to product quality standards and work instructions* Responsibilities as defined by Site Emergency Procedures* To ensure maximum plant availability through effective response, fault finding diagnosis, and repair a wide range of plant and equipment (process plant and equipment, packaging lines, ancillary equipment, utilities etc)* To assist in developing planned maintenance schedules and to undertake the maintenance tasks* Raw material receipt, storage and handling and out-loading responsibilitiesLogistics Operative:* The receipt of packaging and raw materials to site and the accurate loading/dispatch of finished products.* Recycling preparation (baling) of waste materials generated by packaging departments.* Receipt of packaging and raw materials - including checking of physical goods and associated documentation* Storage of above in correct location and recording (for packaging only) the location, quantity etc in the stock location map* Supply of packaging and other components (as per the works order documentation) to production areas - via Kan Ban* Removal and storage of end of runs (surplus packaging etc) verify against SAP, flag up variances to Logistics Manager to follow-up with procedures* Stock checking of packaging, raw materials, intermediates and finished products as required* Loading and dispatch of goods from site* Packaging requests* Housekeeping of the warehouse and storage areas* Integrity of stocks (clean, dry, free from damage etc)* Maintaining a safe working environment* Adherence to the Loading and unloading procedure* Comply with the requirements of the management system and act appropriately with regard to day to day management of QSHE issues.
