We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Commercial Development Manager to join our site in Doncaster (with national travel as required). We combine the best available knowledge and technology, as well as decades of experience in environmentally sustainable practices, to achieve a superior recycling service to private and public sectors right across the UK.Whats more, our state-of-the-art processing and refinery facilities enable us to produce renewable energy as well as premium-grade biodiesel, which emits up to 85% fewer greenhouse emissions than fossil fuel.As a Commercial Development Manager your duties and responsibilities will include: Liaising with Directors to decide commercial activity plans, setting and achieving of strategic goals Reviewing the market and quickly assessing and identifying areas of synergy and opportunities for growth in sales, markets, and products through outbound pipeline generation and inbound need qualification Formulating proposals which are commercially competitive and minimise financial risk to the business Identifying opportunities for sales and margin improvement and implementing strategies to exploit these opportunities Having personal responsibility for the management of a number of key accounts, including their growth and retention, in addition to new business development Liaising with customer support to ensure 100% customer satisfaction Assisting Directors with the development of annual budgets and targets Reviewing financial information and adjusting operational budgets to promote profitability Attending and presenting at monthly P&L meetings Managing relationships/agreements with third-party companies Evaluating business performance by gathering, analysing, and interpreting data and metrics Ensuring that the company runs with legality and conformity to established regulationsAs a Commercial Development Manager you should have: Previous experience as a Commercial Development Manager, ideally from a background in the food, renewable energy, or waste sector Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and ability to inform, engage and persuade Ability to identify and develop target markets, winning new business in a competitive environment Ability to negotiate effectively and deal with customers and staff with integrity and expertise Have excellent organisational, communication, and leadership abilities Numerate, literate, and IT proficient, with the ability to analyse, interpret and present sales data Knowledge of industrys legal rules and guidelines Be pro-active, passionate, and enthusiastic about their job Be a great team player and lead by exampleClosing date: Friday 1st October 2021If you would like to join us as our Commercial Development Manager, then apply now.
