Catering/Chef Manager- Catering based roles in Doncaster- at the rate of £12.50 / - PH (subject to change)To begin with, a compelling opportunity has risen for a Catering/Chef Manager - Please apply today for this brilliant career change.BardWood Support Services are continuously recruiting on behalf of clients, and we have come across an exciting opportunity for a Catering/Chef Manager role. You will be working to provide day to day preparation and cooking of all food for the catering services.To maintain and develop the catering service within the designated unit, in agreement with the client and operations manager.- This is at a retail distribution centre in Doncaster- You will be required to attend an induction that lasts 8 hours. This is paid for if you are successful- Rota to be confirmed after induction- Immediate starts are available for those who are successful after the inductionLocation: DoncasterRate: £12.50 (subject to change)Shift Pattern: Minimum 8-hour shiftsOperational Duties

  • To co-ordinate and manage all catering associated services at appointed premises
  • Food production in line with the companys recipes
  • Menus - planning and promotions
  • Orders - ordering of all supplies
  • Storage of goods - stock controls (weekly)
  • Report all breakdown of equipment to responsible parties
  • To manage all catering team members to provide the required service at an agreed level
  • To consider all special dietary needs as required
  • Staffing during periods of holiday and sickness
  • Adopt and follow best practise company standards
  • Carries out daily shift briefings
Customer service Duties
  • Always maintain a positive customer and client relationship through regular meetings.
  • Compliance of agreed customer satisfaction levels to be measured through customer surveys
  • To be visible and available throughout service periods whilst on duty
  • To be aware of customer needs and adapt service to suit
  • Maintain the highest level of customer contact, keeping complaints to a minimum and ensuring these are dealt with professionally and promptly.
Sales Development
  • To have complete ownership of the sales function of your unit
  • Run a monthly promotion as directed by your Operation Manager

Uniform:- To comply with company standards, including washing and ironing of uniform- To ensure the correct uniform and PPE is always worn (PPE is required from all who start)- Must provide your own PPE. This includes safety shoes and a high vis jacket.
