Job Description

Care Coordinator - Domiciliary Care - £23,400 plus circa £3500 on-call payments Were looking for an experienced Care Coordinator for a domiciliary care service in Doncaster. My client delivers a high-quality and consistent care service vulnerable adults in their own homes across Doncaster and Barnsley, and as the Care Coordinator,youll be responsible for the rota management ensuring that all care calls are allocated, supervision and leadership of care staff and ensuring that all care is delivered in-line with company policy and procedures.On offer is a salary of £23,400 plus additional payments for on-call equating to around £3500 per year, an enhanced pension scheme, employee assistance programme, excellent training and development opportunities with the opportunity to undertake the QCFlevel 5 qualification.The Care Coordinator RoleAs a Care Coordinator you are primarily responsible for the coordination of the rotas for the care staff, ensuring they are communicated to staff efficiently.Youll

  • Effectively complete the rotas for domiciliary care staff
  • Ensure that any absence is re-covered and clients are aware of any changes.
  • Provide supervision and leadership to the team of carers and mentorship to colleagues.
  • Ensure care staff are up to date with training and development
  • Ensure CQC are being met
  • Liaise regularly with health care professionals such as GPs and social workers.
The Successful Candidate
  • Were ideally looking for candidates with prior experience of working as a care coordinator, care scheduler/care planner within a domiciliary care company.
  • Youll have excellent IT skills and the ability to use various software packages
  • Youll have a can-do attitude and have the skills to lead and motivate people
  • Be able to take part in the on-call rota
  • Driver with own vehicle
