Band Saw Operator£11.50ph, DN9 area, 28 days leave, 8am-4.30pm M-F, Pension, Parking, Temp-PermJob Role Due to continued success and expansion plans this well-established family run engineering organisation has an exciting opportunity for a band saw operator to join them where you will provide cut to size steel for the machine shop team: Set up, adjust and operate bandsaw to the sizes and lengths to cut the material to required measurements Operating bandsaw, pillar drills, pistol drills, fettling and marking out Maintain a clean and organised workshop Notify management team of any errors Any other duties as requestedRequirements We would expect the successful bandsaw operator to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of operating a range of engineering machinery including bandsaw and pillar drills whilst having flexibility in assisting the CNC machinists orwelding when required.
