We are currently looking for an AAT qualified (or equivalent) Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team based in Doncaster. About the opportunity: This role is a financial accounting role, supporting the preparation of divisional financialstatements. You will be there to assist management and take responsibility of tasks. Assist with reconciliation and reporting of aged debtor balances on a monthly basisPost bank receipts into various operating and accounting systemsCompletionof income transfers into office accounts across various operating systemsPost, reconcile and report creditor activity and assist with credit control within the divisionProcess payments within agreed SLAsReview bank reconciliations prepared by finance staff,including investigation and resolution of reconciling itemsResponsible for weekly bank deposits and reconciliation of ad hoc receiptsCalculation of month end accruals, including revenue, and prepaymentsCompletion of balance sheet reconciliations as assignedVerifythat all data is extracted across various operating systems into the general ledgerTimely completion of all assigned tasksProvide support as required to the Management Accountant and Financial ControllerContinuously seek to enhance systems and controls withinthe finance departmentAlways meet stakeholders needs and requirements and adhere to company valuesAd hoc duties as and when required Qualifications and Experience:Exchequer (preferred or suitable accounting package)MS Exceladvanced8 GCSEs grade C and above(including Maths and English) or equivalentAccounting experienceAAT qualified or equivalent (preferred) About you:A desire and willingness to undertake further professional qualificationsAbility to execute in a timely and efficient manner when provided tasksAbilityto think laterally in a problem solving/trouble shooting capacityHigh level of accuracyProfessional and business-like appearance and manner Benefits: Along with the great people you would be working with in this role, we offer an excellent set of benefitswhich would include the following:Employer pension contribution of 6% (providing you, the Employee provides 2%)Life Assurance at X4 of your base salaryGroup Income ProtectionGenerous annual leave entitlementFlexible benefits
