Job Description

Our client is a MSP looking for a driven and enthusiastic IT Support Technician to join our team in Harworth, Doncaster.You will be implementing varied systems, assisting with the maintenance of our clients IT systems and providing help desk support. You will be based in our Harworth office with a flexible working from home model. You will work alongside other members of the team in a variety of different IT related tasks.Typical Duties- Implementation and Management of

  • MS 365 environments
  • MS Teams and SharePoint
  • Client / Server 2016+ environments
  • Various Backup Solutions
  • Local and Perimeter security defences
  • Security focussed technologies and services
    • - Help Desk Support- Troubleshoot and research reported problems, then implement solutions or workarounds- Creating and maintaining documentation relating to our client’s IT systems- Help with the roll out of new software or hardware- Testing and Evaluating new technologySkills & Experience - At least 3 years’ experience working in MSP role- Good, confident telephone manor and 1 to 1 communication is essential- Able to support, maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server operating systems. Experience with Apple products is desirable- Experience with Microsoft 365 Azure services- Experience with Windows Virtual Desktop is desirable- Diagnose and setup of networks with VLANs. Router, switches and access point are required- Full UK Driving LicensePerson Specification. - A driven and enthusiastic team player- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Excellent time management and organisational abilities- Always keen to develop skills and experienceSalary 22k – 26k (experience dependant)
