Job Description

HR Business PartnerOur client is looking for a HR business partner, in the company this role is titled as a HR Specialist. Working on site 3 days per week in Widness, and 2 days work from home. You will be the point of contact for HR at this site with support from the HR Managerwho is regionally based.You will be an advisor to the functional leaders, applying strong HR experience and expertise, both tactically and strategically.As HR Business Partner you will be:

  • Translating the tactical business plans into critical HR actions, programs, and initiatives.
  • Partner with site management to evaluate business goals and translate into people and talent management and acquisition plans.
  • Act as the change agent and collaborate with the wider HR team to execute and implement large scale HR initiatives and annual processes.
  • Facilitate and manage the talent review process and succession planning in partnership with management and Organisational Development.
  • Coach functional leaders and employees regarding employee relations issues including capability, performance management, disciplinary and grievances.
  • Maintain HR information system (Workday) to support up to date employment records, such as those relating to contracts, internal movements, and employee relations.
  • Work closely with senior leadership team to unlock the potential of our people and create a clear path of sustainable growth: representing HR leadership as appropriate
The right HR Advisor candidate will be:
  • HR Generalist experience of minimum 5 years
  • CIPD level 5 or equivalent, or relevant experience.
  • Strong business judgment with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
  • An assertive, independent and results-oriented individual with a strong drive to succeed and ability to challenge
  • Experience in working within a unionised environment will be beneficial
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment as standalone will be beneficial
