Job Description

The Service Managers role at BGES is a mid-senior management post, who will report direct in to the Director of Operations, help prepare board meetings documentation and will provide the business with:

  • Full ownership of the Service department, including but not limited to all BGES in-life customer base, day to day remote support services, call and alarm management, all field issues, and the reporting of the aforementioned, internally and externally to ensure all SLA/KPI’s are met.
  • Improve the profitability of the business, by proactively managing and continually improving cost and sell on all service and energy work.
  • Highly customer focused with good communication and organisational skills with the ability to operate and communicate at all level both internally and externally
  • Building and developing a highly effective Service delivery team, capable of delivering first class customer experiences first time, every time
  • Deliver concepts and processes for accelerating growth and margin within the Service department, whilst underpinning the values of quality/time/cost’
  • To be instrumental in formulating the scope of what the Service department at BGES offers to its customers, and ensure delivery of all those services
  • Impliment 3rd party software seemless into a white lable offering with in the Energy & Controls centre(eCC), with a compelling financial and operational solution
  • Ensuring the Service department can autonomously prepare service and energy quotations in accordance with technical information provided by the customer without distracting the project team.Have experience and comprehensive knowledge of service specifically in at least one of the following disciplines-
  • HVAC, Refrigeration, Elecrical or Building Services, BMS/BeMS or Energy
  • Track record of managing and growing a service delivery team
  • Experience of managing annual service P&L >£2M
