Due to internal promotion our client are now looking for a skilled Service Engineer to join their team on days. The role involves ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of all areas including the critical plant such as dumpsters and associated process equipment, Unloading & loading of stock including cages, drums and machines both clean and spent items. Item arrival and goods receipt processing ensuring stock is recorded correctly and returned to the Distribution Centre Must use a Fork Lift Truck (licence applicable) Handling waste solvents and chemicals. Prevents any unnecessary waste of solvent or solvent pilferage, any unnecessary damage to material goods, vehicles, allied product and machines Ensures the timely and correct storage and uplift of all appropriate waste from the branch Maintains that all allocated vehicles to the branch are in a clean condition and any defects are reported to the Manufacturing & Warehouse Manager Upholds and ensures the cleanliness and operating efficiency of the branch as directed by the Manufacturing & Warehouse Manager Any other duties reasonably requested and which are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the role. The role will also including travel around the North of England which a 3.5 tonne vehicle will be provided so a full clean driving licence is essential.
