Job Description

WORKING HOURS: 8.30am - 5pm, Monday -Friday with 30 minute lunch break.START DATE: ASAPSalary: £20,000 basic plus bonusTHE ROLE:As a member of our already existing sales team your key duties will include, but will not be limited to, the list below, as this role is varied, ever changing and always interesting.

  • Liaising with our marketing and social media team to create interest in the business and the products that we have available to generate leads
  • Dealing with incoming calls from current and potential customers regarding EDLounge subscriptions
  • Outgoing calls and emails to follow up on enquiries that come into the business
  • Providing potential new customers with a demo of the system using either an online screen share facility or visiting the school or premises of the customer
  • Tracking and keeping potential customer details up to date, on our bespoke created Customer Management System.
  • Ensuring management and senior management are kept abreast and updated of any developments or customer specific account requirements, setting reminders and making notes as necessary.
  • To manage and keep on top of a daily workload, prioritising your tasks and keeping in regular contact with potential customers
THE PERSON:Do you love sportsDo you have a background in educationDo you have experience in B2B sellingIf the answer is yes to any of the above, we are looking for a confident and professional individual to join an existing sales team to provide mainly office based support in a well-established team environment. The successful candidate will work collaborativelywith other sales team members, and at times independently, to assist the team reach their individual KPIs and team targets.PERSON SPECIFICATIONS ESSENTIAL:
  • Due to the nature of the role and data you will have access to, you must be eligible to gain a FULL and ENHANCED DBS check
  • Previous experience in a competitive sales position
  • Capability of "closing a sale"
  • Maths and English GCSE Level C or above - Or equivalent
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to speak to professionals of all levels
  • Intermediate or better understanding of Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to multi task
  • Flexible and motivated team member
  • Follow instruction and be prepared to develop and grow
  • Full and also clean driving license
DESERIABLE:
  • Experience in selling to educational facilities
  • The ability to think on their feet
  • Knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
  • Knowledge of child protection
