Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a growing family run SME who specialise within the construction industry based in Sheffield, S25. As a Sales and Operations Executive you will take a leading role within the business to support the directors with the overall Sales and Inventory management to help push the business forward to achieve their growth plans and objectives.Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Call existing customer accounts to maintain sales and grow accounts.
  • Source new sales opportunities through outbound telephone calls and 121 prospecting videos
  • Be able to process quotations
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Oversee web orders and web leads
  • Grow accounts and upsell and cross sell
  • Inventory management
  • Data management
  • Inventory planning and forecasting
  • Unloading trucks, retail packing, outbound shipping
  • Inbound Overseas Freight booking, tracking co-ordinating
    • The ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes...
  • Proven inside sales experience
  • Can-do attitude
  • Experience working with Pipedrive or similar CRM
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Strong IT Skills - specifically Microsoft Excel all formulas (not macros/ VBA level)
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Experience in the construction industry - specifically selling to Builders Merchants
    • Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm (Mon-Fri)Benefits
  • Salary- £25,000 plus Bonus
  • 20 days holiday plus 8 Bank holidays
