We are looking for 2 general construction Skilled Operatives to join our expanding team on the North West & Central minor works contracts reactive and planned.Your responsibilities:• As a Skilled Operative at CML you will always work in a safe manner following appropriate procedures and instructions at all times.• You will work on the LNW Framework for Network Rail undertaking railway maintenance work including but not limited to vegetation clearance and brickwork.• Working on the minor works projects, you will be dealing with high volume of work and in a high pressure / reactive environment.• You will be responsible for ensuring that vehicles materials, tools and plant equipment under your control are fit for use and are stored & disposed of correctly and any defects are reported immediately to H&S and / or your Manager.• Teamwork is key in delivering our works effectively, therefore when you aren’t required to use your daily skills / trades on the job, you will be expected to undertake other reasonable duties to ensure collaboration in meeting deadlines.Desirable skills:• PTS• Joinery• Bricklaying• Groundworks• Drainage• Experience working in confined spacesAdvantageous Qualifications:• COSS, SSSTS, SMSTS, PASMA, IPAF, small tools, Temporary Works Supervisor / Coordinator, First Aid, Street Works, IRATA, Rail Trolley, Weed Spray, Chainsaw, Strimmer etc.Other information:• Travel and lodging will be required if the sites are nationwide• Training & Development is provided and maintained by our T&D team• Position is permanent / directly employed• Based from our office in Dinnington, South YorkshireThe package:• Package dependent on experience.• If you are interested in this role and would like to apply, please follow the instructions.
