ElevationRecruitment Group are delighted to be working with a fast-growing, PE Backed manufacturer based in Sheffield as they have a newly created role for an Operations Accountant/ Finance Analyst to help manage the financials of their busy factory.Reporting into the Head of Finance, this will be a varied role with duties to include: -

• Ensure integrity of stock and its valuation
• Finance business partnering with operational teams
• Development and deep drilling of KPI’s and production analysis
• Responsibility for ROI calculations and conducting regular finance appraisals with Production Manager
• Labour efficiency reporting
• Absorption costing calculations
• Profitability reporting
• Standard cost reporting
• Under/Over recovery reporting and corrective action
• Margin analysis – Bid V Std. V Actual
• Post project appraisals

To be successful, you will have the following skills and experiences: -

• CIMA or ACCA Qualified/ Late Part Qualified
• Experience gained in manufacturing is preferred although not essential
• Strong communication skills
• Good analytical skills
• Able to work independently/ as part of a team
